Overview
Word Search Themes ("the App") is operated by ShipGrid Enterprises LLC dba Tifficult Games (1500 N Grant St Ste R, Denver, CO 80203, United States). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. It applies to the App and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service. Effective date: August 21, 2026.
Information we collect
We collect information in these ways:
- On your device: gameplay progress, puzzle state, settings, coin and gem balances, owned theme packs, daily-login and goal progress, and similar app data stored locally so the App works offline.
- When you sign in (optional): if you link Apple or Google sign-in, we receive information from that provider such as a provider account identifier and, when the provider shares it, your name and email address. We assign an internal account ID to link your sessions and cloud backup.
- Cloud backup: when signed in, your gameplay progress may be stored on our servers so you can restore it on another device.
- Purchases: when you buy in-app items, Apple or Google processes payment. We receive purchase and entitlement information (such as product IDs and transaction status) from the store — not your full payment card number.
- Push notifications (optional): if you allow notifications, your device provides a push token so we can send reminders you opt into (for example, daily login rewards). You can change this anytime in device settings.
We do not collect precise location data, do not show third-party ads, and do not sell your personal information.
How we use information
We use collected information to operate the Service, save and sync your progress, authenticate your account, deliver purchases and entitlements, send optional notifications you requested, improve stability and gameplay, respond to support requests, and comply with law. We do not use your information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking for ads.
How we share information
We share information only as needed to run the Service:
- Apple and Google — sign-in, in-app purchases, and (when enabled) push delivery.
- Infrastructure providers — hosting, database, and related services that process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards.
- Legal requirements — when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share data with advertisers or data brokers.
Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it. Account sign-in and cloud features require users to be at least 13 (or the age of digital consent in their country).
Data retention and deletion
Local app data remains on your device until you delete the App or clear its storage. Cloud data for signed-in accounts is kept while your account is active. You may delete your account and associated server data from Settings when signed in, or by emailing us. After deletion, we remove active account records and progress backups from our systems within a reasonable period. We may retain anonymized, aggregated usage and revenue statistics that cannot reasonably identify you, and other information where retention is required by law or for legitimate security and backup purposes.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. California residents may have rights under the CCPA, including knowing what we collect and requesting deletion. EEA/UK residents may have rights under the GDPR. We do not sell personal information. International transfers and security
We are based in the United States. Information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries that may have different data-protection laws. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes and contact
